All Subtle Bodies incense sticks are pure wood products with no added perfume or fragrance. Each burns with a distinct, yet delicately scented smoke trail.

Hinoki comes from plantations in the central mountain regions of Taiwan, where commercial operations were established as early as 1895. Favourable growing conditions and diligent farming practices ensured the industry was successful, solidifying its place as a product of true cultural significance.

A prized wood and national treasure, Taiwanese Hinoki is celebrated both as a construction material and for its beneficial health properties. To achieve a higher quality and more defined scent this incense uses top grade wood carefully selected from left over cosmetic grade logs. This ensures a brilliantly sustainable and exceptionally fragrant end product.
